About the Team
 

You will be part of the Maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of our Shafter based Care Center. Independent self driven professionals will thrive in this environment as you will be the sole technician on campus. 

 

About the Role

You will the guru of fix it so come prepared to maintain plumbing, drywall projects, painting, electrical fixtures as well as inventory management! Since this is a part-time position, applicants in need of flexibility are encouraged to apply!

 

 

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
 

  • Have 1-2 years experience in the repair, maintenance, trouble-shooting and installation of light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and electrical work.
  • Ability to physically install computers and assist the IT team when necessary
  • One to two years experience in maintenance and operation of fire protection and security
  • Ability to operate a lift-truck and facility cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of carpentry skills, roofing repair
  • Good written and interpersonal communication skills,.(i.e -  Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel, in particular operations personnel and other maintenance team members when applicable)
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays and shift work if required.
  • Must have good organization skills and inventory related experience.
  • Daily demands for physical exertion, extensive walking, climbing, carrying materials and tools may be required.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and requires walking and standing in facility with exposure to the seasonal environment and exposure to dust.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday and schedule is flexible to fit your needs!

We're excited about you because...
 

  • You have a High School Graduate and/or GED, one to two years experience in an industrial maintenance environment and/or recent Vo-Tech graduate in an electrical or mechanical certification, mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
