About the Role

In the HR assistant role, you will provide a wide range of administrative and technical assistance to the HR department. Duties will range from assisting the MYHR associate hotline to communicating all policy/business updates to a variety of departments and much more! The position is crucial to the success of our department and will provide growth opportunities for those wanting to break into the HR industry!

· Assist in heavy detailed data entry into various HR systems

· Answer routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on basic HR related topics

· Assist with general questions regarding attendance, benefits, and leave of absence procedures and other subjects as needed

· Process associate requests and documentation

· Assist Recruiting team, as needed

· Route complex matters to appropriate HR team member

· Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all department records

· Thrive in ambiguous situations

· Other duties as assigned

We’re excited about you because...

· You have a High School Diploma / GED or Associates Degree

· Previous HR experience required

· Continuing education (classes, webinars, etc.) with a focus on HR a plus

· Equivalent combination of education, training and experience

· HRIS and ATS experience is preferred

· Knowledge of general HR policies and procedures strongly preferred

· APHR certification preferred


Technical Competencies required:

· Competence in general computer skills and the use of common business software, including Microsoft Office and other programs

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

· Must display empathy while having sensitive conversations

· Ability to meet set deadlines

· Strong customer service and communication (both oral and written) skills

· Convey a positive and professional image at all times

· Must have strong integrity and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

· Strong multi-tasking skills a must
