About the Store Operations Team

You will be part of the Retail Operations team responsible for supporting the Williams Sonoma Brand of Retail Stores. Our job is to ensure that every Williams Sonoma Store is supported to deliver on company metrics and take care of our customers. Our team values collaboration across roles to find innovative ways to support our field organization and drive retail profitability.

 

DEPARTMENT: Store Operations

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides analytical and specialized administrative support to the Manager of Store Operations with complex details and advanced administrative duties. Maintain database and reporting. Evaluate confidential information and provide reports to senior management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks

· Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports/recommendations

· Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties

· Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports

· Work is of a critical or confidential nature

· Assignments may be found in various functional areas

· Maintain an open line of communication between supervisors and managers for resolution of issues; foster a People First environment

· Takes initiative to create solutions to problems and be able to execute them by using the appropriate channel of communication and team involvement

· Complete other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

· Strong interpersonal skills and customer service experience a must

· Must have exceptional attention to detail.

· Strong analytical capabilities with a background in an operational type role preferred

· Strong computer knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite

· Advanced Excel skills required

· Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in an office environment with strict deadlines.

· Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment

· Works well in a close-knit team environment and will take the initiative to help the team reach their goals

· Strong experience in reporting and analytics within retail stores, operations, or finance.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Excellent time management, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
