LOCATION: All-Sites 
DEPARTMENT: Design 
SALARY GRADE: 6 - Compensation starts at $19.95/hr and may change based on merit, tenure and location

Job Description: Why you and why us? 
You will be part of the Design Services team responsible for supporting Design Chat associates and leadership with driving results through chat. Your job is to ensure that each designer provides a unique and engaging experience for WSI customers across all brands. You will be a coach and mentor, assisting leadership in guiding associates to successful design, expert product knowledge, and selling. You will support the daily monitoring of Chat Software and Teams, develop training tools and resources, provide guidance on product questions, and support new department initiatives. You are key to the success of what an outstanding designer looks like.

Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts 

  • Meet SLA of 10-15 chats per day driving sales and WSI Design Services
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented; ability to be flexible and handle simultaneous moving parts within Chat Software & Teams, supporting Designer questions & queue levels, with a sense of urgency
  • Be a visible and accessible resource for Designers including answering product-related questions, clarifying SOP’s, and providing design guidance as needed 
  • Lead Design & Sales Workshop training and shadow sessions on a weekly/monthly basis 
  • Meet Essential Functions for Sales Per Hour & Quality metrics 
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently 
  • Proactively communicate care center, brand, policy, and procedure information/updates to care center team. 
  • Lead through example by performing department tasks correctly, and quickly; demonstrating integrity and acting in a responsible and accountable manner 
  • Monitor potential performance and coaching opportunities and partner with Supervisors 
  • Develop a People First culture that allows associates to grow and succeed 
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, peers, and managers within the organization 
  • Provide design and sales support for interdepartmental customer escalations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  

Qualifications: What you need to apply 

  • Must have 1-year experience within the WSI Care Center
  • Must have experience with Design Chat
  • Demonstrated success as a peer trainer  
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, independent decision-making skills, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders across multiple brands 
  • Strong interpersonal skills including a solid “team player/ownership mentality” disposition.  
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates, supervisors, and managers 
  • Working knowledge of computers, Internet, and Microsoft Office applications 
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to foster trust between associates 

  

Important Facts: 

  • This is a Full-Time, non-exempt level position requiring a 40-hour schedule 

  • Hours and schedule – morning and weekend availability a must
