LOCATION: Shafter, CA 

DEPARTMENT: Order Processing
SALARY GRADE: 7 (formerly pay grade 5) starting at $18.59/hr and may increase based on merit and tenure 
REPORTS TO:  Editing Supervisor

 

Job Description: Why you and why us?
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in the world of fraud? What about dealing with banks and customers to help with issues like pending authorizations and getting charged twice? Editing is a team-first atmosphere with an attitude of “work hard, play hard”. We handle multiple facets of the business and literally touch almost every piece of it from fraud, mail order sends, OMS payment failures, gift cards, chargebacks, and MORE. 


Job Duties: Your day to day

Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts

  • Resolve orders with errors based on transaction type and problem
  • Ensure that all batches are complete by reviewing exceptions
  • Validate customers’ invalid or declined credit cards
  • Generate customer correspondence via form letters if phone contact is not possible
  • Process balance due orders
  • Cross-train in support and assist with releasing and other support functions
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Team Leader
  • Review orders that have stopped in editing to resolve problems that have prevented the order from invoicing

 

Qualifications: What you need to apply

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of OMS
  • Acceptable productivity, quality, and dependability ratings
  • Credit card or banking experience preferred
  • Strong decision making
  • Excellent written communication
  • Strong People First attitude
  • Furniture Trained

  • This is a Seasonal Full Time, non-exempt level position requiring a 40-hour schedule
