POSITION: Retail - Furniture - Seasonal 
LOCATION: All Sites
DEPARTMENT: Las Vegas Customer Service
SALARY GRADE: 5
REPORTS TO:  Retail Supervisor

 

Job Description: Why you and why us?

You will serve as the primary after-sale customer contact for Retail furniture by independently solving a variety of challenges with limited supervision while consistently providing excellent customer service on a small, exclusive in-center team for one of the fastest-growing brands in the company. You will listen and respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, issues, and requests, in a manner that meets the standards for service and quality.

Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts

  • Greet Retail customers and service orders 
  • Provide shipping information on customer orders
  • Check inventory database and issue replacements and/or credit customers for damaged/defective merchandise
  • Provide product information to customers
  • Tactfully negotiate and appease customers using a variety of methods established by Williams-Sonoma. Inc. guidelines
  • Interact with various departments on customers’ behalf
  • Process written correspondence (Internal)
  • Perform special tasks and non-phone projects to support the department as assigned
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Assist with Sales and Service calls

Qualifications: What you need to apply
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Independent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, superior oral communication skills, and a professional phone manner
  • Strong knowledge of Rejuvenation products
  • Building, electrical or renovation experience a plus
  • Moderate PC skills and comfortable learning new work systems
  • Must be meeting or exceeding all essential functions
  • Must be Furniture trained


Important Facts:

  • This is a Seasonal Full-Time, non-exempt level position requiring a 40-hour schedule
  • Hours and schedule - TBD
